The City of Long Beach is one of the largest metropolitan cities in California and is home to the second-busiest seaport in the United States. The City of Long Beach serves a diverse population and provides the community with several public amenities, such as recreation programs and services offered at 162 parks with 26 community centers, two historic sites, two major tennis centers, one of the busiest municipal golf systems in the country with five courses, the largest municipally operated marina system in the nation and six miles of beaches.
Pacifica Services Inc. was selected to provide the City of Long Beach with compliance monitoring and oversight of the City’s participation in various programs which includes State and Federal (Davis-Bacon and Related Acts) Prevailing Wage Labor Compliance, HUD Section 3, City-Wide Community Workforce Agreement/Project Labor Agreement, Small Business Enterprise (SBE), Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), DBE Goal Setting, and Community Economic Development.
In partnership with the City of Long Beach, Pacifica Services Inc. works in close collaboration with contractors to proactively identify and remedy any issues to ensure that compliance with various requirements are met throughout all phases of the projects.
