Labor Compliance
Our labor relations and compliance team is comprised of experienced professionals with expertise in the development, administration, and enforcement of Project Labor Agreements/Collective Bargaining Agreements, Small and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Programs, National and Local Targeted Hiring Initiative Programs, Labor Compliance Programs, California Labor Code, Federal Davis-Bacon and Related Acts, and other applicable regulatory requirements and directives.
Pacifica believes that our role is to collaborate with the Contractor to achieve a shared goal—the successful administration and completion of our client’s project. Our team’s approach and methodology addresses three key components to ensure effective and successful compliance monitoring throughout all project phases: Contract Management, Contractor Education and Training, Compliance Monitoring and Oversight.
Starting with principles of contract management, our team promotes teamwork and communication through proven partnering approaches while also understanding the funding requirements of the project. We also believe that contractor education and training is the driving force for compliance with labor standards and we strive hard to ensure Contractor understanding and commitment to complying with the requirements of the project.
