Cycle 2 Water Infrastructure Improvements – Manhattan Beach, CA
The Cycle 2 Water Infrastructure Improvement Project will rehabilitate and/or replace six segments of domestic water pipelines throughout the city that are suffering from severe structural problems and deficiencies such as corrosion, insufficient fire flow capacity and severe operations and maintenance issues. The pipeline segments and project limits are located in highly visible areas within the city and require a complete range of improvements including the following:
Storm drain retrofits, reinforcement, and pipe installation.
Hydrology/hydraulics, hydrodynamic separator units, and connector pipe screens.
Concrete forms and source material inspections.
Utilities coordination, relocation, and connection.
Right-of-way construction, including public and private driveways, non-signaled pedestrian crossing(s), retaining wall(s).
Sidewalk, curb and gutter (including variable height curbs)
Landscape, irrigation, and wayfinding.
As the prime consultant, Pacifica is providing the city of Manhattan Beach with comprehensive construction management, construction inspection and special inspections for this capital improvement project.
