Central Juvenile Hall Renovations and Upgrades – Los Angeles, CA
Originally established in 1912, the County of Los Angeles’ Central Juvenile Hall complex was the first juvenile detention facility in Los Angeles County.
The facility is located on 22-1/2 acres of land in central Los Angeles, and encompasses 24 buildings originally built between approximately 1923 and 1978. The facility includes living units, two infirmaries, two school buildings, two gymnasiums, kitchen facilities, a chapel, and mechanical areas.
This job-order contracting project includes interior renovations of the recreation center, HVAC and roofing for dormitories, HVAC for the pharmacy and ADA sitework compliance work.
