South El Monte Solar Projects – South El Monte, CA

South El Monte updated a number of city facilities by installing a 664.58 kW photovoltaic system which provides renewable energy and additional savings to its residents. The project included construction and installation of solar carport structures, PV panels, and solar shade structures at City Hall, the City Hall parking lot, the Mini Center, Community Center, Senior Center, and Transportation Yard.

Pacifica was selected by the City to provide Construction Management, Inspection and Labor Compliance Services. Our team’s responsibilities includes overall construction management schedule management, inspection of BMPs, coordination of submittals, provide Daily Inspection Reports, collector contractor documents such as payrolls, and ensure payment of Prevailing Wages. Additionally, Pacifica worked with the City to coordinate third-party specialty testing of the electrical equipment to ensure energization and performance of the installed photovoltaic system.
